Yessie was our midwife for our first and only child born in December 2023. During the initial process of looking for a midwife Yessie was finally recommended to us. I cried tears of joy and relief when I got off the phone with her because I could immediately sense that she was someone who really listens and cares for her clients wishes and desires. Throughout our prenatal care, my partner, and I would get so excited for our visits with Yessie. She is so informative and knowledgeable and constantly shared her wisdom to ease our mind and prepare us for our birth. We would also talk about our fears , and she would go over all the different possibilities outside of our plan for our birth every time we left our prenatal appointments we felt entirely cared for. Come December I went into labor and Yessie came to our house shortly after we called her when we believed I was close to active labor. Birth was absolutely beautiful. Postnatal care was no different. Yessie is so loving and attentive postpartum. We were so confident that our baby was getting the best care in the world. I cannot imagine having another kid without Yessie being there to deliver.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Yessie‘s care during my pregnancy and postpartum with my third child born in February 2023. The care I received was exceptional and far surpassed the care received during my previous pregnancies. I was immediately impressed by Yessie‘s professionalism knowledge and warmth that our first meeting. She kept meticulous records at each of our appointments and took the time to fully get to know me and my family, as well as gain a detailed understanding of my physical and mental health, she demonstrated her experience and professionalism every step of the way providing me with documentation and recommendations that allowed me to exercise true and informed consent with every decision as a 48-year-old third time mom I am well-versed in maternity care and natural health yet there’s so much I learned from Yessie thanks to her caring guidance. I enjoyed a healthy pregnancy and was incredibly well prepared for my homebirth. The true icing on the cake was Yessie‘s postpartum care those first days and weeks postpartum were juggling active. Getting to know my newborn daughter overcoming breast-feeding struggles and dealing with mastitis. Yes he’s loving guidance and competent prompt care made this a blissful time, despite the challenges, I truly believe that the world would be changed if every mother received this kind of care after giving birth. I know I am a better mother and woman as a result of knowing her and should I have another child. I would hire her again without reservation.
